Tribe was born in 2018 and launched in 2019 with our core platform, ISAAC. Modular at both a micro and macro level, ISAAC was designed to enable agile responses to market change and to support pioneering new initiatives.

Wael founded Tribe in 2018, fuelled by his ambition to simplify the payments space and offer a full ecosystem of solutions to customers.
With over 15 years of experience in the fintech space, Wael has driven the development of Tribe’s innovative in-house technology, looking to help other businesses overcome the challenges they face when navigating the world of payments processing and regulated finance.
His motto for Tribe is simple: One integration equals global connectivity.
Lynda joined Tribe in 2022, bringing over a decade’s worth of experience in the payments sector across Europe and the Middle East, having previously held senior roles at Barclaycard, Elavon and Network International. She has a proven track record in product commercialisation, and launched the first acquirer-owned Android based POS application across the MEA.
Having also built and led high-performing P&L owning teams, Lynda joined Tribe as VP of Customer Success – before moving into her current COO role, in which she ensures that Tribe delivers a seamless experience to its customers.
Lynda has also been named among the Top 25 Women Leaders in Financial Technology of Europe for 2023.
Alex has previously held roles as both Head of Issuing and Head of Business Relations at Valitor, and Head of European Business at Raphaels Bank, giving him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the payments and the financial services industry. Alex is passionate about innovation and bringing payments and fintech into the mainstream.
Edita has more than six years of HR experience in HR strategy, organisational development, talent management and recruitment. She is passionate about Tribe’s people, and creating a culture in which they can thrive. Since joining Tribe, Edita and the HR team have helped grow the company even further, and we now have over 180 employees across our international offices.
Fadl started his career at NETS as a programmer. Following on from that he joined the founder’s team becoming a leading innovation officer for over 14 years, as they built and evolved businesses culminating in the creation of Tribe. He built the original gateway, prototyped most of our products, and led many of our innovative developments such as regional expansion, Open Banking, and Scheme certifications.
Vytautas Mickevicius

Our CTO Vytautas has been with Tribe since the beginning, and is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology to all Tribe's customers. He has spent over two decades working in the developer space, with a specific focus in the paytech and fintech space.
Svetlana Babici
Head of Finance
A Tribe mainstay since the beginning, Svetlana is in charge of all things finance and has been a crucial cog in overseeing Tribe's growth. With over a decade of experience in international accounting and finance, she has nurtured and expanded Tribe's finance team, fuelled by her passion for numbers.
Tristen has been a part of Tribe almost from the start, over three years ago. Joining us as a client acquisition specialist and later being promoted to Head of Partnerships, Tristen brings with him over fifteen years of experience in consultative SAAS.
A background in law, Ruta has been part of Tribe and its precursors for 11+ years with experience spanning corporate management, strategy, marketing, business development, and operations in software development and financial services. She is a team orientated leader with a proven track record, having successfully led more than 10 software development projects and coordinating more than 100 employees internationally, empowering and nurturing talented people within Tribe.
Inga Gasnas
Head of Implementation
Inga has over 8 years of professional experience with the Founder’s team, and is a versatile, and results-driven Implementation Lead with a deep understanding of the payments industry. She has worked with leading FinTech’s and Banks and has successfully implemented programmes across Card, Real Time Payments, and Crypto projects.
Alex has over a decade of experience in the payments processing space. Prior to Tribe, he supported the early stages of Starling and Revolut, as well as leading initiatives on the adoption of digital wallets.
He has held technical roles across issuing and acquiring, as well project and account management. Being an early member of the Tribe team, Alex has been a key contributor to the design of the products, and moving forward is working to deliver the features and functions of the future.
Robin brings to Tribe a wealth of experience in the payments and products space, having spent the last five years at Network International in Dubai, where he was most recently Head of Gateway Products, and leading on NI's omni-channel product strategy.
Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Barclaycard, working largely in its Product department, launching and overseeing the technical and commercial development roadmap of multiple E-Commerce products and services, leading migration activity and championing user centric design principles and agile working practices.
Before joining Tribe, Justas led several successful IT startup projects. During his journey in Tribe he has progressed through Project Development Coordinator, Project Manager, and Team leader positions. This helped him build in-depth knowledge of Tribe's products and technologies as well as gaining a lot of experience in project management and operations processes. At Tribe, Justas’ role is to manage and coordinate our IT Operations function and it’s sub-functions, such as software development, customer support, knowledge base, and employees/resources, in the pursuit of achieving specific functional goals.
