As our company expands, we are in search of an experienced Information Security Officer to uphold the safeguarding of our digital resources and customer information, aligning with the most stringent industry norms and regulatory mandates.

As an Information Security Officer, you will be a key manager in ensuring regulatory compliance and managing policies within our leading FinTech company. Operating in a compliance team, you will work on the development, implementation and documentation of comprehensive compliance policies, which are crucial to guarantee adherence to relevant rules, regulations, and industry benchmarks, including ISO9001, ISO27001 and PCI DSS.This role presents a distinctive chance to influence the direction of compliance operations, playing a pivotal part in our goal of revolutionising the financial sector.

What you would do

• Lead the formulation and implementation of information security policies, protocols, and measures to uphold the highest industry standards.
• Conduct regular assessments, audits, and risk evaluations to pinpoint vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to NIST framework, PCI-DSS, ISO9001 and ISO 27001.
• Oversee security incidents and occurrences, including swift investigation, response, and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate across teams to embed security practices within product development cycles and business activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, technologies, and regulatory shifts impacting the fintech sector.
• Act as the central liaison for all information security-related affairs, engaging with external auditors and regulatory entities as needed.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in an information security capacity within the fintech sector or a tightly regulated financial environment.
• Thorough comprehension of PCI-DSS and ISO standards
• Demonstrated success in overseeing security infrastructure, performing security assessments, and managing responses to security incidents.
• Effective communication and interpersonal competencies, adept at conveying intricate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional language skills in English, both written and verbally.
• OPTIONAL: Possession of professional certifications in information security such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA is highly advantageous.
